(AP) — World record holder Sun Yang won a third gold at the Asian Swimming
Championships Saturday, capping another day of Chinese dominance in the pool.
The four-time Olympic medalist won the 1,500-meter freestyle
in a championship record time of 14:44.10, far short of his world record time
but enough to easily win the race. He was among eight Chinese to take gold in
nine races, including Olympic silver medalist Lu Ying who won the women's 100
butterfly for her second gold.
